Integrating E-T-A's 4231-T Class I, Division 2 circuit breaker into your control systems allows you to: streamline control panels, reduce space required for circuit protection by 50% per pole compared to other devices on the market, optimize supply chain for circuit protection components.

E-T-A’s 4231-T is approved to UL1077, CSA22.2, and UL Class I Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D. The Class I, Division 2 approval allows engineers deploying control systems in hazardous locations to eliminate NEMA 7 enclosures and/or Purge Systems in most applications.

E-T-A’s 4231-T is in the same industry standard footprint as Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB) - 17.6 mm wide. Allowing engineers to save almost 50% per pole compared to other 120VAC Class I, Division 2 devices on the market.

Up to now, engineers purchased AC Class I, Division 2 circuit breakers from an alternative source. With the addition of E-T-A's new 4231-T, engineers can purchase all of their Class I, Division 2 circuit protection components from one supplier.
